In the Main Menu, click Tools, CareCredit Transactions.

Alternatively, in the CareCredit Action window, click Transactions.
- When opened from the Tools menu, all transactions for all patients show.
- When opened from the CareCredit Action window, only transactions for the selected patient show.
Filters
Set filters to update results shown in a tab. Available filters vary by tab.
- From / To: Change the date range to filter results. Use the W buttons to quickly switch weeks.
- Status: Only available in the Quickscreen Transactions tab. Filter results by transaction status.
- Clinic: Only visible when the Clinics feature is enabled. Filter results by clinic.
- Include Acknowledged: Only available in the Errors tab. Check to include acknowledged errors in the results.
Click Refresh to update the results.
Transactions Tab
The Transactions Tab shows purchases and refunds made through CareCredit.
- Patient: First and last name of the patient associated with the transaction.
- Gross Amount: Full amount processed during the transaction to the patient's CareCredit credit card.
- Net Amount: Gross Amount minus any surcharge.
- Date: Date the transaction was processed.
- Clinic: Clinic assigned to the transaction.
- Ref ID: Unique identifier assigned to this CareCredit transaction.
Right-click a transaction:
- Go To Account
- Open Payment
- Process Refund
Quickscreen Transactions Tab
The Quickscreen Transactions Tab shows the results of Batch Quickscreen transactions in a date range.
- Date: Date the Quickscreen Transaction was started.
- Patient: First and last name of a patient who was included in a Batch Quickscreen.
- Date Processed: Date the Quickscreen Transaction was completed.
- Clinic: Clinic assigned to the transaction.
- Ref ID: Unique identifier assigned to this CareCredit transaction.
Right-click a patient to Go To Account.
All: Click to select all transactions in the list.
None: Click to clear the current selections in the list.
Click Reprocess to process the Quickscreen transaction for selected patients with a status of ExpiredBatch. The status is set to Pending and the transaction is reprocessed during the next Batch Quickscreen
Errors Tab
The Errors Tab shows errors that occurred during Batch Quickscreens.
- Patient: First and last name of the patient associated with the error.
- Date: Date of the error/transaction.
- Date Ack: Only visible when Show Acknowledged is enabled in the filters area. The date the error was marked acknowledged.
- Clinic: Clinic associated with the Quickscreen.
- Status, Description, Parameter: Includes details about the error. For more information regarding an error message, contact CareCredit.
- Merchant Closed: Indicates if the Merchant ID is closed.
Right-click an error to:
- Go to Account
- Acknowledge
All: Click to select all error in the list.
None: Click to clear the current selections in the list.
Click Acknowledge to mark any selected errors as acknowledged. If Include Acknowledged is not enabled, the error is hidden from the list. This does not clear the error from Open Dental Alerts.
