How to Add a New Patient

Adding a Single New Patient

  1. In the Main Toolbar, click Select Patient.
  2. In the Select Patient window, search for an existing patient. This helps make sure you don't create a duplicate patient.
  3. Click Add Pt.
  4. In the Edit Patient Information window, enter patient information. Some fields may be required depending on your office's settings.
  5. Click Save.

Adding an Entire Family

  1. In the Main Toolbar, click Select Patient.
  2. In the Select Patient window, search for an existing patient. This helps make sure you don't create a duplicate patient.
  3. Click Add Many.
  4. In the Add Family window, enter family members and patient information.
    • Some information is automatically duplicated from the guarantor to other family members. You can edit information as needed.
    • Address information is saved to all family members.
    • Insurance plans can also be added from here.
  5. Click Save.

Adding a New Patient to an Existing Family

  1. Go to the Family Module.
  2. In the toolbar, click Add.
  3. In the Edit Patient Information window, enter patient information. Some details may be pre-filled from the guarantor.
  4. Click Save.
