How to Edit Existing User Groups
- In the Main Menu, click Setup.
- Click Security.
- In the Security window, click the User Group tab.
- Select the User Group to edit.
- Use the checkboxes to enable or disable Permissions.
- If the permission has a Security Lock Date, enter a date or the number of days to prevent users from editing previous items and click Save.
How to Create New User Groups
- In the Main Menu, click Setup.
- Click Security.
- In the Security window, click the User Groups tab.
- Click the Add Group button.
- Enter a name for the group and click Save.
- In the Security window, use the checkboxes to enable or disable permissions.
- If the permission has a lock date, enter a date or the number of days to prevent users from editing previous items and click Save.
How to Assign User Groups
- In the Main Menu, click Setup.
- Click Security.
- In the Security window, double-click a user to edit.
- In the User Edit window, select the User Group(s) to determine Permissions.
- Click Save.
