Ports and IP Addresses for eServices
See eConnector.
Some organizations choose to limit outbound traffic to specific IP addresses and their corresponding ports. If your organization or IT professional chooses to use this strategy, the eConnector and eServices Listener will require specific IP address and port combinations to be whitelisted in your firewall.
Most organizations will not need to use this page, but in the event that you do, please contact us by sending an email to vendor.relations@opendental.com. Include your Open Dental account number, the name of your organization, the contact person who is responsible for managing ports, and the contact person's phone number and email address.
If your office uses a firewall or network security appliance, please review the requirements below and coordinate with your IT provider as needed.
See the following for additional setup guidance:
The following outbound ports must be open to allow communication with Open Dental servers.
In some network environments, port exceptions must be tied to specific IP addresses. If your firewall requires this level of restriction, whitelist the following IP address and port combinations.

Network restriction vary by office. Not all environments require IP-based whitelisting.
If after adding ports, the eConnector still does not connect, try installing the eConnector to a different workstation.
If installing to a different workstation does not work, contact your IT Professional. There is likely an issue with the network architecture.
