One of the most popular requests is for a dental program that is easy for beginners in the front office to use. Open Dental is very powerful, and you can hide some of that complexity for new users. This is great for training or for offices that are less computer literate. After users learn the basics they can start to turn on the features that they need as they need them.

If you turn on the Hospital features, you will see an additional option when you right click on the Progress Notes in the Chart module.  The option is to Print Day for Hospital.  When you use that option, only completed procedures will print.  Don't expect any other items to be printed.  It will include a photo of the patient, if available, as well as a signature line at the bottom for the staff to sign. The intent is for this printout to then go in the phyisical chart.
